BL-IP Sponsors the CII National Packaging Conference - on “Strategic Advantage through Packaging” Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organization. Founded in 1895, India's premier business association has over 8,500 members, from the private as well as public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs, and an indirect membership of over 200,000 enterprises from around 265 national and regional sectoral industry bodies. The CII National Packaging Conference on the theme of “Strategic Advantage through Packaging” was held in Hotel Crowne Plaza, Chennai during 09th – 10th February, 2018. The Conference featured leaders of the packaging industry from the domestic and international arena. CII had requested Shri R. S. Patel, Head (Operations) of Balmer Lawrie, to feature as a speaker presenting - Steel Drums: Packaging for Sustainable Supply Chain. Balmer Lawrie, is the leader in the Industrial Packaging space and keeps moving with its corporate initiatives for integrated and inclusive development. Sustainability being one of the major pillars of Balmer Lawrie this platform gave us an opportunity to impart with our best practices to the Industry at the same time learning from other players too.
